Senior Race

The senior race route covers 3m of road, track and moorland climb.

Go out of the Gala field via the main entrance and turn left down Eldwick Main Street. After 100m turn right at the Monument on to Saltaire Road. Follow this lane down to a Gate and Bridge over Stream. Turn immediately left and follow a track up through left-hand-side of quarry. Keep on the rough tracks up the hill, across the road and then head for the top left corner of a Caravan Site. From here, follow footpath to the top, crossing the track/road before the final climb.

Turn at the trig point and take the same course back to Monument. On returning to the main road at the monument, you will be directed right and then left to a lane west of the Gala Field. Just after the Acorn Pub take a left over a style into a field and head for the top left corner. You enter the Gala field over another style and follow tapes to the finish.
